JGC Gulf International Co. Ltd. is seeking for an experienced QCM to join our team.

  • Organize and supervise the work of the assigned team to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
  • Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to assigned team to support their overall development.
  • Promote the organization’s values and ethics in all activities within the team in order to support the establishment of a value driven culture within the organization.
  • Prepare and approved project inspection plans, reviewing, evaluating and guaranteeing the alignment of both project specifications and lists of materials and equipment to ensure seamless execution and to increase the productivity of the projects.
  • Review, approved or conduct vendor surveys, including physical observance, to ensure that quality of the procured materials and equipment meets the needs and standards and clients’ specifications within the projects.
  • Prepare and perform status, inspection and testing reports to be delivered and/or discussed with clients, compiling and reviewing the different documents provided by contractors/vendors during project execution, to ensure optimal quality and ultimately client and project satisfaction.
  • Consolidate and perform high-level statistical analyses to guarantee proper observation, tracking and troubleshooting that leads to the application of corrective measures and to ensure the decrease of rejection rates.
  • Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets and ensure all activities are carried out in line with the approved guidelines while promptly reporting on any variances to management.
  •  Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedure for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
  •  Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
  • Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet JGC Gulf’s and department requirements, policies and quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or any relevant discipline.
  • 15 years’ experience in Quality Control (with at least 5 years within a supervising function) in EPC industrial projects or Oil and Gas preferably in the GCC. Having experience in Saudi Aramco Project is preferred but not a prerequisite.
  • Able to make decisions over issues concerning quality matters, organization management and even on critical issues that would be beneficial to the QC organization.
  • Candidate should possess good planning skills and should be able to make good assessment of the qualification and performance of personnel working under him.
