Japan has many world-leading, advanced technologies, including in the following areas:

The JGC-S Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to students of all nationalities committed to studying at a university or college in Japan. Since 1968, we have supported more than 16,000 students from over 54 countries. In 2007, we granted scholarships to 145 foreign students. The year 2008 marks the beginning of a new scholarship program limited to those who are citizens of oil-producing countries, MENA or Central Asia. To students attending Japanese graduate schools, we will be granting a benefit of 180,000 JPY per month.

“International Graduate Courses” are provided at the majority of the Japanese graduate schools and universities. It is common practice nowadays for students to take courses and conduct research exclusively in the English language.
